I was born on a Tuesday morning on June 23rd of 1987 in Chicago, Illinois where I still reside to this day. Well, when I'm back at home from college, anyway. I learned to walk and talk before I turned 1 and I learned to write at 3. I started writing my own picture books at the age of 5 and have been writing ever since and my skills evolved into writing full-blown novels and short stories today. I have eight unfinished novels total and a countless number of picture books, poems, and short stories to date and I have won many awards for them, including Young Authors Awards and Playwriting Certificates.

I have also been acting since I could walk and talk. During highschool, I was in Gallery 37 in Chicago, participating in AAEP Theatre Arts (two-year student) and also working for Gallery's Theatre Art work program (summer through spring) 2004-2005. I am considered a triple-threat in the theatre world (acting is my dream, my first love, and what I want to do when I get older) because I can sing, dance, and act simutaneously. I have not been singing long, but I plan to further that skill, but I have also been dancing since I was 5. I'm also a pretty good web designer and graphic designer although I am a perfectionist and would like to be much better.

I have three older brothers, Brandon, my blood brother, Johnathan, my play brother, and Tacuma, my half-brother, with whom I am all close with. My best friends include Jasmin Gaston, Faith Rice, Dajuan Warren, and Phillip Tucker, who also happens to be my current boyfriend of a year and my first true love. I'm a Cancer — this mirrors my diligent, perfectionist, maternal, determined behavior as well as my overwhelming sensitivity.

Overall, I'm a cool person. I get goofy when the time is right, but I am also caring and very protective of the people I call my loved ones. I'm a talented, gifted, beautiful, and a strong-willed, loving person with a positive "glass half full" personality. Hang with me for a day and your sides will be hurting from laughing all day. Laughter is contagious and I do it a lot — if you need the vibe, just take a step in my direction. ^_^
